Fig App Privacy Policy

Scope
This policy covers the Fig desktop app. The Fig website has its own privacy policy.
What the app sends us
Unless you turn telemetry off, the app sends us:
- which AI models it used, and how much
- tokens spent and what they cost
- how big jobs were, how they were structured, and how long they took
- what kind of work each job was, including short task descriptions that Fig writes itself
It never sends anything you typed — no prompts, no keystrokes — and never your code, your files, or your conversations with the agents. Any text in telemetry was written by Fig.
Turning it off
Telemetry is on by default. If you don’t want it, turn it off in the app — sending stops immediately, and you can flip it back on whenever you like.
Your account
You sign in to use Fig, so we know the basics of your account: your email address, your sign-in provider, your display name, and your username. The only telemetry tied to your account is aggregate totals — your overall spending and activity. Everything else the app sends is anonymous, including the granular data behind those totals.
Where the data goes
Everything we collect is processed and stored in the United States.
How long we keep it
Anonymous telemetry we keep indefinitely. Your account details, and the totals tied to them, we keep for as long as you have a Fig account — or until you ask us to delete them (see below).
Deleting your data
Email contact@fig4.ai with the subject line data deletion demand and include the email address you use to sign in to Fig, so we can find your records. We’ll delete your account details and everything tied to them within a month.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version goes up here with a new effective date.
